Dr. Divya Mallam is a double board certified, highly rated and personable gastroenterologist at Manhattan Gastroenterology. Dr. Mallam is board-certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). Dr. Mallam has received numerous academic and clinical awards and has been chosen to the prestigious list of “SuperDoctors”. She has earned a series of accolades for her outstanding academic performance including the UCLA Dean’s Honors List as well as being chosen as an Alumni Scholar. She is a proud member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) and the American College of Physicians (ACG) and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE).

Dr. Mallam has been published in medical literature and has regularly presented abstracts and presentations in her field. She has a strong passion for patient care and strives to deliver the highest quality of care to her patients that have earned her an excellent reputation.

Dr. Mallam has a special interest in women’s gastroenterology and prevention, colon cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease, and Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Hemorrhoid Treatment, Heartburn and Celiac disease. Dr. Mallam and the Manhattan Gastroenterology team are affiliated with the world-renowned NY Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
